How to Use the Scorecard

  1. Make a copy of the Scorecard spreadsheet.
  2. On the “Total Score” tab, set the scoring scale. To score apps from more than one subgenre, use “Casino - Total Market.”
  3. Add the apps you want to score to the “Game Set” column. Any casino app we track can be added.

This fills the features, events, and content counts.

  1. Open the Feature Database.
  2. In the sidebar, select features, events, and content, and set the date range to all time. A shorter range makes the results stop matching the scoring scale.
  3. Select the market, then the genre and subgenre.
  4. Select the apps you are scoring.
  5. Export the results to CSV and import it onto the “Upload Database CSV” tab.
  6. Select the data, insert a pivot table, and rename the tab “Database Pivot.”

This fills the active event days and simultaneous events.

  1. Open the Live Ops Calendar.
  2. Set a date range. Quarterly or yearly works best.
  3. Set the release type to events.
  4. Select the same market, genre, subgenre, and apps you used in step 2.
  5. Export to CSV and import it onto the “Upload Event Tracker CSV” tab.
  6. Select the data, insert a pivot table, and rename the tab “Event Pivot.”

Use the Database Pivot for total available features, feature mechanic variety, and the release rates. Use the Event Pivot for active event days and simultaneous active events. The spreadsheet converts each result into a grade.
