Market Pulse API

The Market Pulse API serves the same data as the platform, for your own systems. It is available to clients who hold it as part of their subscription.

The base URL is:

Authentication

Every request carries an API key as a bearer token:

A key returns only the data your subscription covers. Something your plan does not include comes back as a 404, the same as something that does not exist. A product you do not hold at all comes back as 403.

Getting a Key

We create keys, and you collect yours yourself. Open Settings in Market Pulse, find your key, and use Show key. Settings also has Show MCP setup command, which gives you a ready-to-paste command for connecting an AI assistant.

Keys cannot be created from Settings or through the API. To request one, email support@liquidandgrit.com.

If a key may have leaked, ask us to rotate it. A rotation issues a replacement with the same settings and revokes the old key. You can also revoke your own key from Settings.

Rate Limits

Client keys default to 1,000 requests a day, reset at 00:00 UTC. Over the limit, requests return 429 until midnight UTC.

Settings shows your key’s usage for the last 30 days.

GET /mechanic-insights	Mechanic Insights.
GET /filter-values	The valid values for a filter group.
GET /updates	Product updates, newest first.

Searching and Filtering

q is available on /feature-database, /live-ops, /impact-benchmarks, and /mechanic-insights. It matches when every word appears, in any order, with a possessive “’s” ignored. On /deep-dives and /news, q is a full-text search and takes web search syntax.

Category filters take <Type> > <Mechanic> and tag filters take <Group> > <Tag>. Names match in any case. An unknown value is refused with the closest real values rather than quietly returning nothing. GET /filter-values?group=Tags lists every value.

Live Ops filters at the app level and has no tag filter.

Migrating From the Old API

The previous endpoints /api/cnd/get and /api/cnd/event-tracker/get belonged to the Impact Portal and are not part of Market Pulse. /api/v1/feature-database replaces the first, and /api/v1/live-ops the second. Email support@liquidandgrit.com and we will help you move across.
